SpotSee has developed a low-cost, connected ecosystem that includes its own mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE) that delivers data from devices anywhere in the world to customers' fingertips. The company recently expanded its ShockLog product line to include the ShockLog Satellite, adding satellite con- nectivity to a line-up that already boasts cellular and USB connectivity. The product line uses the ShockLog 298 to measures impact, temperature, hu- midity, tilt, roll and pressure. With the ad- dition of either cellular or satellite connec- tivity modules, parameters can be viewed in real time from the SpotSee Cloud, all from a user's smartphone or computer. "Adding satellite connectivity to Shock- Log was a great next step for us to ensure our customers always have the connectiv- ity they need," said Angela Kerr, vice pres- ident, product portfolio, SpotSee. "The in- crease in connectivity options allows them to monitor products being transported through the most remote locations where cellular connectivity isn't available." The three attachments — the RBS, RBS20 and RBS20HPX — can be used with 12- to 24-ton rail excavators to quickly exchange existing concrete and wooden ties without disrupting the track. The RBS20 can also switch from handling standard mono-block ties to bi-block ties with no modification, thanks to internally and externally fitted pads. Kinshofer designed the tie changers to make quick work of railway maintenance as well as short track segment repairs, small track exchanges and placement of second- ary tracks. The attachments' large shields allow operators to easily clear ballast from the tracks, and after the new tie is placed, quickly backfill and level the ballast. www.kinshofer.com sales@schurcoslurry.com www.schurcoslurry.com (904)356-6840 Providing Quality Products Since 1975
