April 2019 43 product news continued said additional EX-7 Series machines will be announced at a later date. Loader and Grader Tires B r i d g e s t o n e Americas re- cently expand- ed its Firestone VersaBuilt All Traction (AT) radial tire line. Designed pri- marily for load- ers and grad- ers, the new Firestone VersaBuilt AT 14.00R24 tire is engineered to provide improved trac- tion, versatility and dependable per- formance in a variety of environments, helping deliver improved productivity on the jobsite, Bridgestone said. "The addition of the 14.00R24 tire rounds out the existing Firestone VersaBuilt All Traction offering and complements the total portfolio of radial off-the-road products with the durability you expect from the Fires- tone brand," said Tim Netzel, director of marketing, off-the-road, Bridge- stone Americas Tire Operations. The VersaBuilt AT line is designed for improved traction with increased tire life, according to Bridgestone. All sizes feature a heavy-duty all-steel casing and a SideArmor sidewall that deflects stones and debris to help protect against cuts and punctures. Additionally, a self-cleaning tread pattern allows for more traction in soft and muddy surfaces. Other key features of the Vers- aBuilt AT tire line include non-direc- tional pattern to promote even wear over time; a tough, proprietary com- pound for long wear life and cut-re- sistance; and an open-shoulder de- sign to provide additional traction. Single-use Cartridge Seal Designed to seal centrifugal and ro- tary pumps, and similar rotary-shaft equipment, the T4111 Single-use Elas- tomer Bellow Cartridge Seal is a low- cost, general-purpose sealing solution designed for low-duty applications. The seal boasts a simplified cartridge seal design; faster, easier and contam- ination-free installation; a cost-effec- tive-sealing solution; and complies with ANSI and DIN pump standards. "Our goal is to help our customers achieve optimal efficiency while max- imizing equipment reliability and performance — no matter the envi- ronment," said Colin Ure, product line director, Universal Sealing Solutions. "Customer interaction and feedback indicated the need to develop a tech- nology that would allow them to com- bat the increasing pressure to reduce maintenance costs while also ac- counting for a loss of skilled mainten- ance personnel. Understanding this, we designed the T4111 to give cus- tomers a low-cost, low-maintenance sealing solution." Using proven sealing technol- ogies and design features, T4111 reduced instal- lation times during testing by at least 50% compared to elastomer bellows component seals or tradition- al packing options. In addition, the cartridge design and material selec- tions reduce installation costs, lower maintenance requirements and opti- mize equipment performance. Additional features include: • Sturdy mechanical drive: Seal head drive mechanism elimi- nates overstressing of bellows; • Robust design: Non-pusher elas- tomer bellow design prevents sleeve fretting damage caused by pusher O-rings; • Non-clogging, single crest-to- crest wave spring: Not affected by buildup of solids; and Stop Dangerous Tramp Metals | 814.835.6000 Eriez' Suspended Magnets and Metal Detectors remove tramp metals before they damage your valuable crushers and downstream equipment.
