Equipment Health Monitoring The i-ALERT2 Equipment Health Monitor, a system developed by ITT Goulds Pumps, has been named a winner of Processing magazine's 2015 Breakthrough Products of the Year. Released in May, the system combines the latest in Bluetooth low-energy with sensor technologies commonly used in the newest con- sumer health and fitness trackers and smart watches. It is the first to successfully integrate these technologies into an indus- trial package. The device is engineered and rated for use in a wide range of global industrial environments and is capable of continuous equipment health monitoring. "ITT is honored to be recognized with this award for the i- ALERT2 monitor, which is breaking new ground in machine health monitoring by providing safer and more convenient access to pump and system data," said Aris Chicles, ITT execu- tive vice president and president of ITT's Industrial Process business.
